Positive

  • Stay connected to anyone
  • Can easily text family when you’re out so they know you’re okay
  • Can become famous
  • Can find more friends
  • Can find more support and groups
  • Can advertise products
  • Can sell products
  • Can express yourself
  • Can be creative
  • Can keep you entertained
  • Can easily get access to news
  • Can follow you fav celeb
  • Wont communicate face to face if your shy
  • You can audition through soical media videos
  • Build confidence through getting followers
  • Make public announcements
  • Getting paid to be an influencer and advertisement
  • Don’t have to communicate when talkning

Negative

  • People can write hurtful ,messages

  • You can get upset after seeing how much fun people are having while you’re not there

  • Comparing your lives to others

  • Getting hacked and sending friends messages and friends turn against you thinking you did it

  • People get offended when you don’t always message them

  • Bullies can access you either

  • Disturbing images you won’t want to see

  • Less face to face interaction

  • less physical activity

  • Screen gives headaches

  • Hurt when you don’t get enough likes

  • You can become obsessed with getting followers

  • feel left out if you’re not interested in always being in platform

  • Some might find technology confusing

  • Finding notifications annoying
