●Antemortem
○Used to describe an occurrence prior to death.

anthropologists in the determination of the gender of the decendent.
●Metaphysis
○The part of a long bone that lies between the diaphysis and epiphysis,
and is the growth area of the bone that produces an increase in stature in
children.
●Odontology
○The scientific study of human dentition.
●Osteology
○The scientific study of bones.
●Permanent Teeth
○These teeth are the second set of human teeth that replace the deciduous
teeth.
