I love Spotify because of its ease of use, ability to save and create personal play lists, access to podcasts, and ability to integrate with social media. What really sets Spotify apart from its competitors is that it does one thing and does it well: streaming music and podcasts. Even with added new features like curated daily lists based on your personal likes, and video album covers for many of their songs, they still focus on what makes them good, streaming music with quality, and allowing the consumer (and especially the paying consumer) to have control. What helps retain me as a customer is the fact that they offer a bundle of Spotify, Hulu, and Show time for $4 for students, and the fact that they offer a service with such a vast library of music and it keeps people from illegal pirating music. This makes them cost friendly, as well as shows integrity for the industry.
