Chapter 9 – Nutritional Health and Wellness
Goal: After reading this chapter, you should be able to outline the digestive process; describe the
function of six major categories of nutrients; understand the fundamental principles and strategies for
healthy eating; list the benefits and challenges of being a vegetarian; and appreciate the value of fasting.
- From the perspective of religion, God gave humans food, He created them for human to receive
