Baslooh 1 Noof Baslooh Dr. Chiquita Boyd 11 November 2021 Success and Failure If success makes you arrogant, you really succeeded, and if failure makes you more determined, you really Will Smith. Success is the goal that an individual seeks to achieve in life and gives one a sense of pride and happiness. On the other hand, failure is the inability to perform tasks, and achieve success due to neglect or things that are outside of control, which leads to a feeling of sadness and disappointment. In the previous years, success was measured the extent of a persistence and struggle to reach the goal, in the contrast, if one did not make the required effort to meet his target, then one is considered a failure. be honest with ourselves, we are living in a period of time overpowered superficiality, the values have changed because of the relentless pursuit of money. Narrowminded people these days see success through bank balance, luxury homes, and the number of cars that one has. we become judging things outward appearance. We may judge a project or person as successful because it has impressed us and given the desired results. And we may point to someone who is fired from job or achieve any achievement in life that is a failure. Although everyone may tip their hat to success as a beautiful person, and frown at failure as an ugly one, both of them may occur at the same time, both of them come after attempts, and both of them are uncertain situations. Both Success and Failure may occur at the same time. It is extremely rare, if not impossible, to find a person who has succeeded in every stage of life. Personalities who Baslooh 2 have made a huge positive impact on human histories, such as Albert Einstein, failure was an essential step to achieving their goals. As well, during the time that person seeks to be successful in a specific aspect of life, a person focuses on this point and gives it a lot of time and effort and thus may neglect other aspects. Jeff Bezos is one of the most successful persons in the world, yet he has failed to sustain his marriage from falling apart. Not only people who combined success and failure, even some entities also combined them. We see this clearly in some countries where some of their administrations succeed in implementing their agenda as required, and others do not. And at the institutional level, some restaurants may succeed in following delicious food recipes, and at the same time, they fail in the way of presentation or in the way of serving the dishes. In addition to the fact that people or entities may combine success and failure at the same time, both may come after attempts or come as a surprise. experiments go through many steps in order to judge the outcome as success or failure. Whereas it is illogical to judge ideas while they are still a fetus in the womb of the mind. It is normal to have success as an ally of the goals for which plans have been drawn up, sufficient information has been collected, and the necessary effort has been made. But failure may also be the result of the same steps. Recently, we observed unexpected cases of success and failure as a result of coincidence. For instance, in the social media world, someone can achieve millions of views and followers and gain a lot of money because of an unintended song, movement, dance, or even words. Moreover, some people who have already achieved success encounter circumstances beyond their control that lead to sudden failure. Even if success and failure are the consequence of numerous attempts, both are uncertain situations. People have different perspectives because of their culture, education, and religion.
