Cats- kittens are born and can live 10-15 years indoors then give birth as young as 4 months old.
Dogs- puppies are born and can live 10-13 years old indoors and can give birth as young as 4 months.
Dairy cattle-calf is born, bred at 12-14 months of age than gives birth 9 months later
Beef cattle-calf is born then sent to the feeder lot at 6-10 months old then fed to correct weight and sent
to slaughter at 600-850 lbs.
Pigs-piglet is born then fed to correct wight(200-600lbs) then slaughter at about 6 months
Horses-foal is born and stays with its mother until 4 to 6 months then is used for riding, work, or activities.
Chicken-chick is born then gets slaughtered at about 50 days old.
Goats-kid is born and reaches sexual maturity at 5 to 7 months old and can be bred.
Sheep- lamb is born and stays with mother until 4-6 months old then grazes on pasture.
