CONSIDERING COLLABORATIONS
Considering Collaborations
Peer reviewing is a way to interact and collaborate with your fellow writers to be able to
help them construct a scholar work to make sure it meets the requirements. It is always better to
have more insights regarding a topic because it allows a better review process. Personally, I like
collaborating with other people because it allows me to view a different perspective on the topic
I am writing about. There are times when we write a lot, we neglect other points that are actually
important. It is easy to make a mistake and having another person reviewing it is great. There are
times when I feel insecure about my paper because I feel like I do not make any sense, but I have
to keep reminding myself that my peers are here to help me out. I have enjoyed collaborating in
the past because it has been helpful for me. I am open to constructive criticism and I have
encountered peers that has helped me and mentioned my mistakes in a good manner.
Teamwork, collaboration and peer review collaboration can be confusing to understand
because they are very similar to each other. Teamwork and collaboration both involve a group of
people working together hand in hand. The difference is teamwork involves individual efforts to
support the task as a whole. Whereas collaboration involves people working on a task
collectively. Lastly, peer review collaboration is when peers interact with one another to improve
a particular paper. My goals for peer review collaboration is to gain knowledge from my fellow
students and to be able to apply them into my work. I want to be more open with the inputs they
provide me and to not feel insecure when showing my work.
