I am interested in applying for the New RN Grad Program in the Labor and Delivery unit beginning on February 09, 2009. I recently graduated from West Coast University with an Associate Degree in Nursing. It is my goal to experience and to train in your facility because it ranks in the top 10 percent in women’s health services and maternity care services. It would be a great privilege to work in a hospital that received a 5 star ranking.
Before I became a RN I worked as a LVN for three years in a weight loss clinic where I refined my interpersonal skills, which enabled me to work with different personality types and leadership styles. I am adept in demonstrating emotional control during difficult and upsetting situations and can maintain level headedness and calmness during a crisis. I learned great communication skills and bedside manners. I am also currently enrolled in a BSN program, which is a stepping-stone to become a nurse midwife. I look forward to working at Good Sam and see a great opportunity to grow within the facility if given the opportunity.
