Business Ethics (c717) Checklist!

 Briefly review the textbook readings in Units 1-11 of the learning resource. The activities and exercises in the learning resource are not required (they are simply intended to give you extra practice with the material if you feel you need it).  The textbook readings are intended to just serve as a foundation for your work in the course – you will only use a little information from the textbook in your tasks (much of your work in the two tasks boils down to analysis of the scenario in Task 1 and application of your professional experience in Task 2).  If this is the first paper that you have written here at WGU or you feel like you struggle with writing papers, we highly encourage you to utilize some of the Writing Center’s helpful resources.  You can complete the two tasks in any order. Many students find Task 2 to be easier than Task 1, so feel free to complete/submit Task 2 first.  Also check out the task templates for specific guidance and to give your paper good structure and organization.  Thoroughly review the Task 1 instructions (including the scenario). Then, watch the Business Ethics Task 1 Study Hall video before you begin writing Task 1 – a resource which students find extremely helpful!  Task 1 Tip! With the exception of A2 and A4, make sure all of your responses are based on the information presented in the scenario. A2 and A4 should be generic discussions and should not be based on the scenario. Task 1 does get repetitive, so repeating yourself throughout the task is OK!  Once you have completed writing Task 1, book time to meet with a CI IF you have any specific questions or concerns. If you feel comfortable with your completed task, then please submit for evaluation.  If Task 1 is returned for revision, book time to meet with a CI right away!  Thoroughly review the Task 2 instructions and watch the Business Ethics Task 2 Study Hall for helpful tips on Task 2.  Task 2 Tip! Ignore the scenario completely. You do not need to refer back to the scenario at all in your responses for Task 2. Use your real world knowledge and professional experience as much as possible in your discussions.  Once you have completed writing Task 2, book time to meet with a CI IF you have any specific questions or concerns. If you feel comfortable with your completed task, then please submit for evaluation.  If Task 2 is returned for revision, book time to meet with a CI right away!  Once you have completed and met competency on both tasks, you have passed C717 
