Mthimkhulu Mining (Pty) Ltd is one of the mining companies which appears on the list of mines regarded as highly risky according to the report issued by the Minister of Minerals and Energy. As an inspector of mines, you have inspected the mine and believe that danger is imminent.

Answer the following question:

  1. With the above scenario in mind, discuss the inspector’s discretion to investigate as well as

when he must investigate. (10)

  1. Explain the difference between a dispute of right and dispute of interest and give example
