Course Rationale:

Course Objectives: In this course the student will become acquainted with research methodologies such as survey and field research, questionnaire design, content analysis, analysis of existing data, focus group, individual and group observation (including participatory observation) etc. The course will also introduce students to the safeguards against errors in both data collection and data analysis and reporting.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Students will understand to frame the Business Problems with respect to research objective.
  2. Students should understand a general definition of research design.
  3. Students will understand the process of Literature Review
  4. Students will understand the data collection methods.
  5. Students are able to perform data analysis and draw the interpretation from the data.
