accurate length of the objects. As in (a) the uncertainty value is 0 mm. This show that the value for the repeated reading of (a) is accurate for this object. The length is (5 ± 0) and the percentage for uncertainty is 1%. While for the second calculation is taken from (b), five different lengths taken are 7 mm, 7 mm, 7 mm, 7 mm and 7 mm. These lengths were used to calculate the average of (b) which is 7 mm. The average value calculated to measure the uncertainty of repeated reading of (b). As in (b) the uncertainty value is 0 mm. This show that the value for the repeated reading of (b) is accurate for this object length is (7 ± 0) and the percentage for uncertainty is 1.4% object of (a) and (b) were measured by using vernier callipers

Based on the calculation and observation, there are differences in the width of (a) and (b). This is because the handle dumble of (a) and (b) have a different sizes.

So, by the measurement of the object we can see that every object have their own measuring instrument. As compare to vernier callipers, the micrometers are more accurate because they have the ability to measure extremely small measurements. The least count of the caliper is 0 while the least count of the micrometer is 0, which means micrometer can measure the very small distance of a dimension. While ruler can measure the large distance of dimension which the least count of ruler is 0 cm.

CONCLUSION

To conclude , the length of the book in task 1 (a) is 25 cm and the uncertainty is 0 cm the length (b) is 21 cm and the uncertainty is 0 cm. In task 2 the diameter of the oval (a) is 5 mm and the uncertainty is 0 mm. While the diameter (b) is 2 mm and the uncertainty is 0 mm. Lastly , the width of the dumble handle in task 3 (a) is 5 mm and the uncertainty is 0 mm,while width (b) is 7 mm and the uncertainty is 0 mm.
