1 PROJECT BACKGROUND
System description
This system is applied in the process of purchasing water theme park tickets. This user-friendly
system has specific packages and prices that require users to make a choice.
Our water theme park operates from 7 am to 7 pm. With each entry the customer who buys a
ticket will be given 10 hours to enjoy all the games provided such as the river that surrounds the
theme park area, the giant slide, the hot water pool, and many more water games that we provide.
This system allows customers to choose whether they want to buy a single ticket or a package
ticket. In addition, our system also provides additional services and breakfast and lunch
packages.
For example, if the customer chooses to buy a single package, they must enter the total number
of tickets they want to buy by category. After the customer makes a ticket purchase, the customer
will be given the option to purchase additional services such as a car parking service or rent a
locker to store the customer's personal belongings. After completing the purchase of additional
services, customers can choose to purchase a breakfast and lunch package.
Next, if the customer chooses to buy a package ticket, the customer will get an additional
package for free. For example, if the customer chooses to buy a family package, the customer will
be able to park the car for free, then the customer can make additional services by purchasing the
additional package and also breakfast and lunch package.
In addition, if the customer chooses to buy a student package, the maximum for one ticket is
60 students, if the customer buys 2 student package tickets, the customer will get a discount of
15%. Lastly, customers can purchase additional packages including breakfast and lunch.
The advantage of this system is that it can facilitate the smooth calculation of the total price to
be paid by the user. In addition, this system can save users' time because there is no need to buy
tickets manually which will take a long time.
2 PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- To calculate the total amount that the customer must pay
- To calculate the total income of the day
- To count the number of customers that use the system
- To find the most chosen package and the least chosen package
- To know the most and the least time will be visited by visitors
