By the end of the lesson, Students will be able to list down jobs with correct alphabet
down the left-hand margin.
Complementary Reading
By the end of the lesson, Students will be able to compare two pictures using list of
ideas.
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
Pupils are able to:
1. Students will be able to list down at least 10 jobs with correct alphabet down the
left-hand margin in pairs.
2. Students will be able to compare two pictures using list of ideas individually.

ACTIVITIES:
Set-Induction
1. Students will be greeted by teacher warmly and ask them how their day is going.
2. Students will be asked to quickly share one dream job they have in mind.
3. Students will be asked write down on a piece of paper:
1) Their favourite hobby or activity
2) A job they think might be related to that hobby.
4. A few students will be shared what they wrote down.
5. Students will be introduced today’s topic
Pre-lesson
1. Students will be played the A-J of jobs.
2. Students will be asked to sit in pairs.
3. Each pair are given a piece of paper.
4. Students will be written the alphabet down the left-hand margin.
5. Students will be written one profession for every letter of the alphabet (i.e. A - actor,
B - builder…J- Journalist)
6. Students will be given 10 minutes.
7. After that, a few pairs will be chosen to give their answer.
Lesson delivery
Activity 1: Job Comparison
1. Students will be shown two pictures and tell what they see.
2. Students will be asked to compare between two pictures.
3. Students will be shown a list of ideas to help them to compare both pictures.

• Skills Needed: What skills do they need?
