Instruction: From the given video, identify at least five (5) types of machine guards that need
to be installed to protect the worker. Have a screenshot of the machine.
1.
PULL BACK DEVICE. As shown in the video, fire comes out easily and the employees at this
area is at risk. Especially, when they are doing tasks that involves the use of their hands. With
a pullback device, it is guaranteed that the employees’ hands are automatically pulled back
form
the fire preventing it from getting damaged.
2.
INTERLOCKING GUARD. It is shown that the machine is conditioning a particular material with the
presence of extreme heat. With an interlocking guard, it would prevent the machinery from operating
unless the guard is closed, especially when handling machines that gives off extreme temperatures.
