Workshop 2 (Designing an Intradisciplinal Performance Task (that is reflective of the four exits of the K to 12 program in a VUCA world context to ensure SHS students’ analytical capabilities and capacities in addressing problems of the future)

Expected Output: Intradisicplinary Performance Task

  • Cyberbullying takes place online, using electronic technology such as cellular phones, computer, and tablets over communication tools which has a worst impact especially to the youth. According to a study by Ruiz, R. M. N. M. (2018) entitled " Curbing Cyberbullying Among Students: A Comparative Analysis of Existing Laws Among Selected Asian Countries", last 2013, the Philippines approved the Anti-Bullying law, which covered cyberbullying however, a 2015 study revealed that 80% of Filipino teenagers aged 13 to 16 are still experiencing cyberbullying (Takumi, 2016). It is an intentional harassment which affects mental and emotional aspects of an individual which may lead to traumas.

As an advocate against cyberbullying in society, you and your study (Higher Education) and with your group (Employment, Middle Level Skills Development, & Entrepreneurship) take on the challenge to produce a Short Film. This short film should give tips for creating a safer online environment, making a difference in the cyberbullying issue, raising audience awareness, and supporting campaigns (Employment and Entrepreneurship). The output will be rated based on (1) clear communication of the film’s message against cyberbullying (communication), (2) the use of cinematography, music, and sound effects should be complementing the storyline (communication and technology), and (3) present relevant facts about cyberbullying to raise awareness of its prevalence and consequences (creative thinking).

Transfer Goal What in the long run after SHS can students do on their own with what they learned?”
