I. Objective

Using the module, at the end of the lesson, the students should be able

to;

1. define thesis statement;

2. identify the various techniques in locating thesis statement;

IV. Prelim Activities

Let students answer Practice Test in their module in page 12 – 13.

V. Developing Activities

Let students answer the What Is It part in the module which is also

considered as the Pre – writing Activity in page 15.

VI. Activity

The teacher will present the PowerPoint presentation which contains

the explanation of the thesis statement.

VII. Analysis

After it, students will answer the activities in the LAS made by the

The evaluation of this lesson is equivalent to the Post – assessment part of

the module in page 18-19.
