Appendix B – Field Guide for (Online) Observing or Conducting Short Interviews for Customers

Customer Profile

Name: Marienelle Reyes, CEcD, MBA Age: 31 years old Occupation: Senior Manager and Team Head, BPI Trade and Supply Chain Operations

Questions:

1. How did you know about the company? From what I remember, it was mid-2018 when my cousin, Ianne, introduced their mini project, Colosas. I could also still recall their drafted product, tote bags for women which is impacted with. Late 2019 when I was a little surprised that they changed it to Baro sandals. 2. What aspects of the company’s product/service doyou NOT like? What can be improved? What I like about their product is its uniqueness, durability and expression for loving locals. I duly commend their start-up because at such a young age, they were able to initiate this JA-worthy project. However, I think their service and operations are in a major conflict. Pre-ordering forms were released by July-August 2019 and yet I got mine 3-4 months later. My cousin only then told me it was due to a delay in the manufacturing process. The communications team of the group should not have broadcasted a pre-ordering form without the assurance of delivering their products on time. 3. What is your wish list? If the company will offer a new product/service, what would you like it to be? New release of local designs or color offerings. I suggest they can still expand collections on native styles that could elevate the love for Filipino culture. 4. What features/products/services of the company do you not really care about? So far, the only exaggerated factor about the firm was their marketing exposures. Some of their event postings and promotions weren't really needed? As I’ve said earlier, the main

operations side must be the focus.

5. What do you like about the company’s products/services? Crafting and creativity, plus their mission to help children with disabilities
