Verbal Bullying Most people don't realize how significant a problem this is. Bullying is so common in our lives that we don't even realize that it's happening when it does. We believe it to be something natural, an everyday thing when it's not. Not even close. Every time it happens, adults always saying that "They're still kids. They can deal it with themselves." When in reality, it breaks us and rip us apart bit by bit. Why should people give in to bullies? Why do we have to let them hurt us physically and emotionally? Is it because we're different? What makes us different from the rest of them? We all know that Verbal Bullying is becoming popular on social media such as Facebook and Twitter. How many of you listening to me right now have experienced Verbal Bullying? Honestly, I am one of the victims of bullying when I was in Daycare and Kinder, the reason why my parents decided to transfer me to another school. I bet many of you have experienced verbal bullying at one point. Telling that they're dumb doesn't make you any smarter. Telling someone that they're ugly doesn't make you any beautiful. It takes one second to say these things but a lifetime for someone to get over it. We need to start standing up to those who believe they can walk all over us and do whatever they want to us. We are human beings, just like them. No matter if your religious belief and skin color are different if you're lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. We are all different. It's what makes us unique and special in our way. Most bullying victims fall into a deep depression. They're self – esteem begins to fall, they feel worthless and hopeless. They tend to believe that they deserve every single harsh word to the point that they have no choice but to withdraw from the public to avoid more pain and suffering. They starve themselves to be skinny enough to fit into society. They begin to self-harm feeling it's the only way to release the pain build up inside. Self-harm is not something to take lightly. From what I observed, the victim was traumatizing to the point that they chose to commit suicide. To all the people who have survived and stayed strong despite the heartbreak, insecurities, devastation, depression, and all the horrible things in life, you are so strong. I admire you so much that you're still here after everything you went through. It shows how brave you are. I'm begging you, be careful with the words you say to someone else. What we think is funny could end up being powerfully hurtful. To the people who have been the victims and have fallen into a deep depression, you can get through it. I know that things will get better. Don't hesitate to fight for yourself and what you believe. You don't need to change for anyone. I hope people who have considered bullies are remembered this and realize how much pain you inflicted on people around you like what Jeffrey Benjamin says "You will never reach higher ground if you are always pushing others down." Thank you for listening. I hope this changes your thoughts and your ways.

Verbal Bullying
Most people don't realize how significant a problem this is. Bullying is so
common in our lives that we don't even realize that it's happening when it does. We
believe it to be something natural, an everyday thing when it's not. Not even close.
Every time it happens, adults always saying that "They're still kids. They can deal it
with themselves." When in reality, it breaks us and rip us apart bit by bit.
Why should people give in to bullies? Why do we have to let them hurt us
physically and emotionally? Is it because we're different? What makes us different
from the rest of them? We all know that Verbal Bullying is becoming popular on
social media such as Facebook and Twitter. How many of you listening to me right
