ACTIVITY A. Answer the following questions intelligently.

  1. Is one’s search for what is true easy? Why or why not?

Searching for the truth is easy, the only thing that makes it hard is that many people is contrary or oppose to your idea. If someone is hindering or restricting you to seek for the truth, it a is risk for you to take.

  1. What do you do to seek for truth?

If I am going to be honest about my answer, I don’t commemorate any effort to it because if a person hides something or something is being concealed, it can’t be hidden forever, because the truth will always prevail. As Maya A. quoted that "You don’t have to tell everything you know, but let what you do say be the truth as you understand it.”

  1. Can you cite some instances or examples in which your journey in seeking for what is true has been hindered?

I’ve been striving for Academic Success before because I think that is right as a student, but I have met a lot of people that restricts me to progress. Before, I just want to comply to the things that I need to do like; Assignments, Projects, and Exams. But due to crab mentality, I had friends that will not allow you to progress, they don’t want to see you succeed. If they fail, you should fail too.

  1. Can you always stand for what is true? How?

“Always” is a strong word. I can’t stand “Always” for the truth. Because anyone in the world can be right, but not everybody can be kind. In every decision that we are making, sometimes you are going to the wrong way so that it can result to a better decision. Because we have decision that even though it is wrong, it can give a positive impact or a good result.

  1. Why do you have to seek for what is true?

Because by knowing what is right means you are growing, and maturing. You are learning from your mistakes, and accepting the things that you’ve done that will result to personal growth.

Activity B. Do the exercise honestly. Recall some activities that disregard one’s pursuit for what is true that you have engaged in. You have to be clear of the reasons in engaging such. Remember, being honest is the beginning of one’s quest for truth.

Do you think the experience you have written will definitely reflect who you are and of what you will become? Why?

I once commit Plagiarism. During my 11th Grade that is the first time that I will be making a research paper. As an assumption, everything that I can correlate to my topic is I can use as a reference. I copy and paste all the things that I see and researched about. When I submit my paper, my teacher immediately used her plagiarism tool, as a result 90% of the content in my Chapter 1 is Plagiarized. But a mistake that a person did can’t define one own’s existence. A mistake can’t be correct by another mistake. Better yet, acknowledge and learn from it so you can stimulate comprehension by understanding more the narrative problem and the broad cause of it. The truth is that most of our valuable lessons are learned during difficult times, especially when we are the one is dealing with people that we consider ourself untrustworthy or unreliable. A lot of lessons can be learned from negative experiences the key here is to always take the high road, speak your truth, and only accept responsibility for your own behavior. Always remember that you can provide misunderstanding, failure, and conflicts, but if you don’t grow and reassess the things that is happening, it’s pointless.

Below are the tendencies and/or interests of human beings in their everyday undertaking and interaction with themselves, others, and the community at large. Assess yourself by checking the appropriate column that best describes your inclination in each item.

How many items you checked:

Do you think all the items where you have checked will Always help you respect yourself and others in the quest for what is true? Why?

In Activity C it is in the instruction that “Below are the tendencies and/or interests of human beings in their everyday undertaking and interaction with themselves, others, and the community at large.” Since “everyday” is being included in the instruction, by this, we can make an assumption on that person. We cannot clearly define them because we don’t know the whole story why they put checked on those inclination. As person, we want to be respected. But it can only be reciprocated if you are showing respect also. For the quest of truth, just reassess the things that you did because acceptance will always be the key to finding the truth. Embracing the challenges and the mistakes that you did can help you to make better decisions in life. And by that, be accountable and sensitive to the things or decisions that you are making.
