Pigafetta’s Account effectively communicated what happened in the Magellan’s Expedition. He was able to narrate the sequences of the events from the start of finding the “strait” of Magellan, to the discovery of the Philippines, and until Magellan was defeated by Lapu-Lapu and once regained our freedom. The narrative of Pigafetta is very important because this became our guide in knowing and discovering the original practices and beliefs of our ancestors way before colonizations happened. This gave light to our knowledge on how things became the way they are in the present.
