Accomplishment Report on the Conduct of Weekly Tutorials
I. Rationale Brigada Pagbasa Tutorials with Tutors is a program designed to improve the literacy skills of Filipino students. This program aims to provide one-on- one tutorial sessions to struggling readers in order to enhance their reading comprehension and fluency. With the help of skilled and dedicated tutors, students will be given the necessary support and guidance to improve their reading skills and ultimately, succeed in their academic pursuits. II. Objective a. To provide individualized support to struggling readers: The primary objective of the weekly tutorials is to provide one-on-one support to students who are struggling with reading. The tutorials aim to help these students improve their reading comprehension and fluency, and ultimately boost their academic performance. III. Body For the past week, our team has been conducting weekly tutorials with tutors on Brigada Pagbasa, a community-based literacy program aimed at promoting reading among children in underprivileged areas. The purpose of these tutorials is to provide additional support and training to our volunteer tutors, enabling them to effectively engage with the children they work with and enhance their reading skills.

Without proficient reading skills, students may struggle to understand and process important information in various subjects such as science, math, and social studies. By providing struggling readers with individualized support through tutorial sessions, the program can help students develop the reading skills necessary to succeed in these subjects and beyond. II. Objective a. To boost the academic performance of students: By improving students' literacy skills, the program aims to boost their academic performance. Students who struggle with reading may feel discouraged and disengaged from their studies, which can lead to poor academic performance. The program aims to address this issue by providing students with the necessary support to improve their reading skills. III. Body Review of teaching materials: During the tutorial, we reviewed the teaching materials that the tutors were using in their reading sessions with the children. We provided guidance on how to effectively use these materials to improve the children's reading skills.

Body Training sessions: During the second hour of the tutorial, we conducted training sessions on various topics related to teaching reading.
