Activity 2: Point the Word

Directions: Using the information you got from the previous activity, try to provide answers to the questions below (maximum of two sentences per item).

1. From the previous activity, what do you call the equipment used in playing basketball? Does it have a standard measurement or color combination? - Because not everyone has the same size or measurement of jerseys, socks, and shoes, I believe there are no standard measurements and color combinations in the equipment. In addition, everyone has their own color preferences when it comes to what they wear while participating in the aforementioned sports. 2. How that equipment associated with Basketball? - The socks, shoes, and jersey from activity one are what we wear while playing basketball. And the equipment we use in basketball, such as the ball. They are the most important pieces of basketball equipment.

A basketball is a spherical ball used in basketball games. Basketballs usually range in size from very small promotional items that are only a few inches (some centimeters) in diameter to extra-large balls nearly 2 feet ( cm) in diameter used in training exercises

Activity 5: Synthesizing Ideas Guide Questions:

1. What is the most important equipment in playing Basketball? How it helps yourself to become familiar with basketball while playing? - I believe that the ball is the most important piece of equipment required when playing basketball because it is the focal point of the game. Basketball would not be called basketball if the ball did not exist. We can play basketball without shoes or a jersey, but we can't play without a ball. Knowing the equipment used in basketball allows me to gain a better understanding of the sport. 2. Why is it important to know the equipment needed in playing basketball? Is it possible to have alternatives for you to be able to play basketball? Discuss your answer. - I believe that the ball is the most important piece of equipment required for basketball, and I also believe that we can have an alternative ball for basketball. As long as the ball is round, can bounce, and fits inside the ring, it can be used as an alternative to basketball, similar to volleyball and soccer balls.

Activity 6: My Reflection

Directions: Using the information you’ve learn, formulate your reflection by answering the following questions. (Minimum of 5 sentences)

1. Do you have any possible alternatives to the equipment in basketball? What are those? - There are a plethora of alternative basketball equipment options available to us. If you don't have the ball, you can substitute a volleyball or a soccer ball. You can use your garage or any free space inside your house for the court. You can make your own ring out of wood and a round bended metal to have a ring. 2. How will I use those learned concepts in playing basketball? - What I've learned from this module is that we should prioritize not only the game play we'll make, but also what we wear and use while playing basketball. Because we are not only athletes but also role models, we should look neat, clean, and presentable as athletes in various sports. We don't want to become unappealing in front of other people.
