Different Intensity Exercise Induced Synaptic Plasticity in Brain
My name is Safwat Jabari. A third-year medical student at Hebron University majoring in
medicine. My passion for scientific research began when I was a freshman, I began to see how
scientific research had a greater contribution to the advancement and development of
medicine. So, little by little, I began to participate in various activities, including activities
related to scientific research, to refine my personality and learn more about scientific research.
I have always wanted to participate in scientific research to help humanity get rid of
diseases and health and psychological problems that it faces. I now have the opportunity to
participate in a research project that will allow me to broaden my knowledge more than before.
Especially in an embracing, innovative and modern environment.
Moreover, taking biochemistry, Biophysics & Medical Physics, cell biology at Hebron University.
unleashed my curiosity towards its diverse fields, one of them being metabolic syndrome, which is
cluster of conditions that occur together, increasing risk of heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes.
Mainly caused by diet (obesity, high triglyceride and LDL levels, and low HDL levels). I wondered how it
could be treated without need for medication. That’s why, it would be an honor to be a part of this
research project, led by Hanna Goenawan. Hanna, dr., M.Kes, AIFO, Ph.D.
Throughout my journey at Hebron university, I participated in a lot of curricular and
extracurricular activities, both academic and practical. The aim was to acquire as much
theoretical and practical information as possible, while refining my personality and how to deal
with others. Among these activities was a session with the IMET2000 Research Club, which is
concerned with teaching the principles of scientific research from A to Z. think pink event,
diabeat it day, and many more.
Lastly, Indonesia has a rich history, as it gave birth to many scholars and doctors who had a
great role in writing history. It is also characterized by a distinctive community culture that I
would have the honor to live in. Indonesia's size, tropical climate, and geography make it the
second-highest level of biodiversity in the world.
Sincerely yours,
Safwat Jabari.
