Reason for Salvadorapersica:
From an ancient tool to a modern way of improving oral health, Salvadorapersica (miswak)
has proven to be an effective tool for oral health. The miswak removes the bacterial plaque by
mechanical and chemical actions. It provides a cheap and easily accessible way of improving
oral health of the individuals and populations.
Reason for Azadirachta indica / Neem bark:
ts antibacterial properties due to the presence of nimbidin, Azadirachtin, and nimbinin help to
remove many oral aerobic and anaerobic pathogens existing in the oral cavity. Neem bark and
leaf extract is most effectively used in preventing cavities and gum disease.
Reason for Eucalyptus:
Research indicates it has antibacterial and anti-plaque properties, which enables it to help
fight gum disease and decay. Historically, it has been used to help heal wounds, address pain,
and diminish inflammation too. It has a potent, yet refreshing, flavour.
Reason for Sanguinarine:
Sanguinaria extract is composed of sanguinarine and five other closely related alkaloids. The
safety profile of both sanguinarine and sanguinaria extract provide a broad margin for their
safe use in oral health products. Sanguinarine has broad antimicrobial activity as well as
antiinflammatory properties.
