Presentation Guidelines:  Formulate a diagnosis for the character using the DSM-5, be sure to provide justification for your diagnostic formulation.  Use a theory to explain how the character developed the illness.  Provide two questions for discussion with the class.  Be creative

Relevant information that should be considered as you prepare the presentation:  Psychological Dysfunction - breakdown in cognitive, emotional, behavioural and social functioning.  Personal Distress - difficulty performing appropriate and expected roles; impairment set in the context of person’s background; history of distress.

 Atypical or not culturally expected response - reaction is outside cultural norms.  Family background and relevant history (drug, marital, sexual etc.)  What has contributed to the symptoms that the character is having.
